How long does the design process usually take?
Depending upon your availability, how quickly you can make decisions, the complexity of the project and the number of projects we have underway, the design stage of the project can take 1 – 2 days from our first meeting.

 

Once we decide to proceed with a specific design how long does it take until we receive the goods or they are installed?
Once you approve the final design, our furniture manufacture process takes approximately 10 – 20 days.

 

Are you manufacturers as well as designers?
We are designers as well as manufacturers and cabinet makers.

 

Do you only work in wood?
Yes, laminates and veneers.

 

Are your products composed of particle board?
We use wood veneers laminated over MDF board or plastic laminates over chip board.

 

We do not live in the Metropolitan area. Can you help us?
Yes, We always open to new destinations.

 

Do you design only home offices?
No, we design furniture for almost any space in your home or office. We have designed: entertainment units, luandry units, pantry’s and dining buffets etc.

 

Can you design furniture I can take with me if I move?
Our speciality is designing office furniture that looks to be built in but can be taken with you on moving

 

Can you help with lighting?
Yes, we will supply over-head down lights

 

What kind of warranty is there on your products?
Felxi designed/manufactured products are guaranteed to be free from defects for 10 years from delivery and/ or installation. Warranty specifics are further specified in our contract.

 

Why does Flexi emphasize ergonomics in its design work?
In order to promote a “healthy” relationship between our furniture and our clients, we consider ergonomics in all our designs.

 

Do your designs reflect any particular aesthetic style?
Yes, since we are based in Western Australia, we have strong contemporary aesthetic which is evident in many of our designs

 

I am already working with an architect or interior decorator. How can you help us with our home office needs?
We often work with designers and decorators when the project requires expertise in the area of home office design. Just as your Designer turns to lighting, kickent or bath specialists for design assistance, they turn to Flexi for home office design as we are the experts, integrating factors such as ergonomics and technology into our products. If your Interior Designer has a “vision” for the home, we want to ensure that the home office reflects that viewpoint. Ongoing discussions among Flexi, the Client and the Designer can ensure that the new Home Office design pleases everyone.

 

Do you have a catalogue?
Yes we do, however we do have a file of project works that are available in our studio or can be shown by our consultant at a home visit.

 

I am in a rush; do you have any pieces in stock?
No, everything we do is custom and takes 10 to 20 days to manufacture. The sky is the limit … but you must have patience!
